About Pete
Hello, I’m a freelance illustrator and artist with over 30 years experience. I create a wide range of Illustration styles. I do 3D environments, cartoons, caricatures, storyboards, technical and all types of drawing and painting work.
After graduating from Camberwell School of Art in 1980 I worked as an advertising visualiser for The Rex Stewart Group until 1988 when I went freelance as an Illustrator.
I have visualised 3D spaces for Airports, Supermarkets, Exhibition Stands and more.
I like doing personalised caricatures for individuals or companies, these are often presented framed as a present or retirement card.
Although most of my work is semi-realistic I like to keep it stylized and enjoy cartoon work.
Storyboarding is another area I am comfortable with, either working from a sketch or verbal brief is fine with me.
I can handle more technical subjects and styles when the need arises.
I’ve also recently started doing traditional Oil Painting, so it will be interesting to see how I can develop that after years of working digitally.
All this work starts with a drawing and that’s what I love doing!
In addition to this I like design and logo projects.
I’m familiar with most mainstream software packages including Cinema4D, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, InDesign and others.
I have a lot of experience working for advertising and design agencies with clients such as: Bosch, Orange, Gateway, Imperial Tobacco, Paramount+, Disney, Amazon Prime, Magic Radio, Netflix, Savvy Games, Royal Mail, Canal & River Trust, Loriel, Mars, Diageo, Weetabix and others.
